SLIDE: Acts 2:24 God raised Jesus to life and we are all witnesses of it
SLIDE: After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time, most of whom are still living. 1 Corinthians 15:3-8 Pg. 933. Apostle Paul
What about us?
SLIDE: 1 Corinthians 15:20 But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.
SLIDE: 1 Corinthians 15:43 Our bodies are buried in brokenness, but they will be raised in glory. They are buried in weakness, but they will be raised in strength.
Death comes before resurrection
SLIDE: 1 Corinthians 15:50 What I am saying, dear brothers and sisters, is that our physical bodies cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. These dying bodies cannot inherit what will last forever.
SLIDE: 1 Corinthians 15:54 Then, when our dying bodies have been transformed into bodies that will never die, this Scripture will be fulfilled:
SLIDE: “Death is swallowed up in victory.
O death, where is your victory?
O death, where is your sting?”
