Prayer is powerful. When you pray, you connect with God at a deeper level, bringing your needs and your gratitude to Him. We can bring our requests to God, both as individuals and as a group. City’s Prayer Team is committed to lifting up the needs of the church body and our community through prayer.

Sunday Morning Prayer

City’s Prayer Team is available to listen and pray with you after any of the church services. Experience the comfort and peace only prayer can bring.

Pray With a Pastor

Pray with a pastor during the week by calling 434.978.7788, 10 a.m.– 2 p.m., Monday–Friday. Ask to be connected with a pastor who can listen to your story, help you discern next steps, and pray with you.

Care – Available Support 

 

Visitation

A visitation team is available to visit those who are in the hospital, in convalescent or nursing facilities, or to those who would like a home visit. Team members visit those in need to offer prayer and encouragement.

Stephen Ministry 

Receive care from a Stephen Minister who can provide confidential, one to one Christian care for individuals who are experiencing difficulties in their lives. For more information contact [email protected].
