Lent Devotional
Join us in an online devotional for Lent from Gospel in Life. You can sign up for this free 40-day devotional, which will be emailed to you daily during this upcoming season of Lent. Here is more information about the devotional. We pray that as you journey with us from Ash Wednesday to Easter, you will be reminded of the reality of our broken humanity. Still, as days grow brighter, you will experience the reality of God’s redeeming grace with greater abundance. And so, just as we carefully prepare for big events in our personal lives, such as a wedding or commencement, Lent invites us to prepare our hearts to remember Jesus’ death and resurrection.
Maundy Thursday
Maundy Thursday Meal and Communion // 6 PM
Maundy Thursday is the fifth day of Holy Week. This day commemorates the Washing of Jesus’ Feet and the Last Supper of Jesus Christ with the Disciples. Join us for a Maundy Thursday Meal and a time of Communion. A main dish will be provided. Please bring a side dish or a dessert.
Good Friday
Stations of the Cross Experience // 7 AM – 7 PM
In celebration of Easter weekend, City Church will be offering an opportunity for individuals to observe and walk through stations of the cross from 7 am – 7 pm. Come at your convenience and reflect on the events of Good Friday.
