of the wind and waves, death, demons, diseases, dysfunction is now found IN a person.  It is in Gentile territory… not Jewish.

:29,  He lived in the tombs, people tried to constrain him, He broke off the shackles, he cut himself with stones, He cried out in the night.

The spiritual poverty is evident.

His self destructive behavior is the same way.

The loneliness is the same way

The very worst!

I am not that bad.

Jesus : naked, isolated, outside the town among the tombs, torn apart on the cross:   This is how the demons are dealt with. That is how healing takes place. Jesus is coming to share the plight of the people, to let the enemy do its worst to him, to take the full force of evil on himself and let the others go free.
